Ever felt like you were unfairly judged, misrepresented, or projected on? Or maybe you’ve been the target of assumptions and had people decide your story without even asking for the details? If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. Welcome to the place where we don’t let the absurdity of life get us down—instead, we turn it into something we can laugh about, learn from, and maybe even heal through.
What’s This Category For?
"Let's See How Absurd We Can Get This Week" is a space for everyone who’s been at the receiving end of unfair judgments or assumptions, and for those who’ve had to deal with people who just don’t get it. Instead of holding onto the frustration, we’re going to flip the script with a sense of humor, create parodies, and expose the absurdity for what it is.
Think of it as a parody-driven release: you’re here to laugh off those misunderstandings, use humor to shine a light on the ridiculousness of it all, and maybe even see the lighter side of things that once weighed you down.
How You Can Use This Space:
1. Playfully Call Out Assumptions: Been judged unfairly or had others project their ideas onto you? Share a lighthearted post that brings out the humor in it. Let’s see how absurd those assumptions look when they’re written out in the clear light of day.
2. Turn Misunderstandings into Parody: Sometimes, a humorous twist is the best way to heal. Share a fictional, exaggerated take on the misunderstandings people have about you. It’s not about pointing fingers; it’s about pointing out the silliness of assumptions.
3. Weekly Absurdity Themes: Each week, we’ll explore different themes that invite you to look at how absurd the world can get. Whether it’s the “Ultimate Misjudgment Olympics” or the “World’s Wildest Assumptions” contest, let’s get creative and laugh it off together.
4. The ‘If They Only Knew’ Scenarios: Imagine a scenario where people finally understand you—or even better, where they double down on their assumptions to an absurd extreme. Show us what it looks like when people take their judgments way too far.
5. Light-Hearted Reflections on Toxicity: For those toxic situations where people seem to want to spread negativity, use this space to take the sting out with humor. Show how silly it all looks when seen through the lens of parody.
Why We’re Here
This is a place to transform frustration into humor, and humor into healing. We’re here to laugh together, to point out the absurd without getting stuck in it, and to create a space where everyone feels free to share their truth—wrapped in humor, parody, and a touch of light-hearted rebellion. Because sometimes, the best response to being misjudged is to show just how absurd those judgments look when you don’t take them seriously.
Ideas to Get You Started
"What People Think vs. Reality" Parody: Create a funny comparison between the assumptions people make about you and the actual truth in your life. (Example: “People think I meditate on mountaintops and live off kale smoothies. Reality: I barely have time to meditate between snack breaks.”)
"If People Took Their Assumptions Further" Scenarios: Show us what it would look like if people took their assumptions to the extreme—turning a simple misconception into a full-blown comedy.
"Toxic Responses Exposed" Parodies: Share your take on the funny side of people’s toxic behaviors and pointless criticisms. Sometimes, the best way to understand the absurdity of negativity is to laugh at it.

Here, we’re all about transforming the negative into something positive, seeing the humor in life’s quirks, and sharing a little bit of truth wrapped in laughter. Let’s see just how absurd—and freeing—this can get together!
I have been misunderstood all my life. I am a very direct person and a free spirit so I often speak my truth but sometimes it is not clear or people misunderstand what I am saying. I noticed that since I did throat chakra healing I see that my way of communicating is improving and after working with experts over the years who taught me to express myself and communicate better and more clearly. I still feel like the black sheep. I live my life in a spiritual way meaning I listen to my intuition and I believe and live with how energy flows and believe everything is energy. Many times I was ridiculed or laughed at for being this way. I am not the kind of person to hide it. I often felt like crawling into a nice hiding place where I can just be me without judgement. Today I am detached of what people think of me. It feels free to just be myself. I do my best to surround myself with people who align with me.
