I used to believe that if I was patient, if I just “waited for the right one,” everything would eventually align.

Updated: Nov 18

But then I realized—waiting is not the same as preparing.

Waiting can actually be a trap.

It strips you of your power, causing you to settle for breadcrumbs when you deserve the whole loaf. It delays the miracles and blessings you’re yearning for. You’re left waiting—for the opportunity, for the blessing, for the soulmate—waiting to wake up to the truth that you hold the power to create your life.

I used to think playing the waiting game was a sign of strength, as though holding out was proof of my faith in the process. But in reality, it wasn’t faith at all. It was fear—fear of disappointment, fear of failure, fear of the unknown.

Waiting kept me trapped in a cycle of “someday,” while life passed me by.

When we stay in this passive state, we’re signaling to the universe that we’re not ready to receive. The vibration of creation doesn’t flow through passivity. Instead, the universe mirrors back our hesitation, our doubts, and our lack of action.

Here’s how I shifted and how you can too:

1. Get Clear on Your Vision

What does the highest version of your life look like? Spend time journaling or meditating on this. Be specific. Imagine the details: How do you feel? Who are you surrounded by? What does your day-to-day look like?

2. Embody the Energy You Want to Attract

Stop waiting for love, abundance, or purpose to arrive. Start showing up as if you already have it. Want love? Practice self-love daily. Want abundance? Cultivate gratitude for what you already have.

3. Take Inspired Action

Action is the antidote to waiting. What bold move can you make today that aligns with the life you desire?

• Join that class.

• Book that trip.

• Say “yes” to the opportunity that excites and scares you at the same time.

Even small, consistent steps build momentum.

4. Commit to Your Growth

Invest in yourself. Whether it’s through personal development courses, therapy, or a spiritual practice, prioritize becoming the best version of you. The more you grow, the more aligned you become with what you desire.

5. Trust the Process

Trust is not passive—it’s active. Trust means showing up for yourself every day, knowing that as you create your life, the universe will meet you halfway.

For me, the shift happened when I stopped thinking of myself as someone “waiting” for love and started living as the person I wanted to be.

If you’re ready to stop waiting—if you’re ready to step into the vibration of love, abundance, and fulfillment—start now.

Make one bold choice today that aligns with the life you truly desire.

This isn’t about calling in a partner or waiting for anyone to “complete” you.

It’s about calling in the highest version of you.

Are you ready to move from waiting to creating?
